Babyland General

Labor Day 2006!!

Sometimes the planets align perfectly and you set out and accomplish EVERYTHING that you had planned on doing in a day. Today, was one of those days. After 4 gruelling hours in line at Dragoncon the day before, I had NO interest in seeing anyone or anything from that place again. So Caleb and I set out for a little road trip...
With Caleb maning the maps - we found Babyland General with no problems. Although I will have to say, apparently miles in Georgia are relative. Meaning - they don't mean the same there as they do everywhere else. We were told it's 'just a piece' up the road, or 'not far' from Atlanta. They lie - it's their way of getting people to visit these far off and OUT of the way places. Although, I have to admit, it's worth it.
Look!! They even have a Disneynut too!! This is one of the first cabbage patch babies ever made - and he has GREAT taste in clothing!!
Believe the sign - we asked - premies are $170-190; babies born that day are $199; and 'kids' are $235. We decided our newest family edition should be of the plastic variety - $35.
Here's what you need to know about babies being born. Forget that load of crap they teach you in school - they all come from a cabbage patch and the mother cabbage has crystals that light up to tell her when it's time to spit the next one out. Very clean and sanitary and EASY to explain. For those wondering - the nurses have a hokey speil on this - kinda like being on the jungle cruise at Disney!
And here's Caleb with the one we picked to come home with. His name is Devon Nash and was born on July 6th. He even comes with blue streaks in his hair that change color with warm or cold water. What will they think of next?
