Note this is issue #13 - the irony is not lost on that either!
Checklist that should be done before every 400 mile trip to Orlando for a Disney job fair. 1. Resume 2. Gas up car. 3. Check WDW park hours, weather.com & remember your DDE card. 4. Check calendar dates vs. Career Fair dates BEFORE you call WDW Info and ask them why the doors to casting are locked.

The irony of this character meeting is not lost on me... The door knobs to the Casting world is, of course.. the Doorknob from Alice - and if I remember correctly - she didn't come with the right key either. "Oh, no use! Ha ha ha ha. I forgot to tell you, ho ho ho ho! I’m locked!" Being that there was no bottle of magic shrinking juice - nor a cookie to make us larger - and well, it really didn't seem like either were viable options in the first place... We decided to make lemonaide out of the lemons the day had handed us. |

And headed to the Magic Kingdom as fast as the kia would take us. Check out that AWESOME parking spot - things are starting to look up now. =) |

We managed to ride in the front of the monorail again, hit up every photopass photographer coming into MK (I'd show ya, but the pics are still loading at press time), got a dole whip, rode the Haunted Mansion twice, finally got on the newly refurbished steam boat, Pirates of the Carribean, Cinderella's Carousel & Snow White's Scary Adventure, ate at the Plaza Restaurant (no raving reviews here) & got several new buttons. AND celebrated my birthday EARLY Disney style.

| Absolutely nothing we set out to do worked as planned. And I wouldn't have changed a moment of it. A bad planning day at Disney - is still way better than the best day anywhere else! |
